Sparkletots Queenstown Child Care Centre was a community based Child Care
Centre conceived and built by community leaders of Queenstown in 1993. It occupies the ground floor of the former
HDB (Queensway) Area Office and the car park fronting the office. It is one of the leading Child Care Centres
in Singapore and was the first Child Care Centre in Asia outside Japan, to be awarded
the ISO-9002 certificate in 1996. Following Sparkletots Queenstown, some good Child Care Centres in Singapore have acquired ISO certification. The Centre discontinued with the ISO certification renewal after achieving SPARK accreditation in November 2011.
